Sweet Dreams by Beyonce Knowles
“Sweet Dreams” is a song by R&B singer Beyoncé Knowles from her third studio album, I Am… Sasha Fierce.

The Times was impressed with the song: “Sweet Dreams, with its deep bass, and disturbed lyrics, is thrilling.”

The video is expected to “take Sasha to the next level” and be a more “graphic” video than the others, as stated by Beyoncé in the B-roll footage of Above and Beyoncé: Dance Mixes. It premiered on July 9, 2009, on MTV,VH1 and MSN.
The song was leaked before the release of the album and was titled “Beautiful Nightmare“.
Radar by Britney Spears
“Radar” was confirmed as the fourth and final single from Blackout on May 3, 2008 by the production team The Clutch. It was officially released to U.S. radio stations on June 23, 2009.

The video was directed by Dave Meyers, who previously worked with Spears on her music videos “Lucky”, “Boys”, and “Outrageous”.
The premise of the video deals with Spears being torn between two men – her boyfriend, and another man she meets during the video, who appears to be “on her radar”.

New Divide by Linkin Park
New Divide was written by Linkin Park for Michael Bay’s film Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. It was released as a single on May 18th.
Parts of the intro were used in the final Transformers trailer.
“New Divide” debuted at number six on the Billboard Hot 100. The song dropped to number 39 the following week, the biggest drop within the top 40 in the Hot 100’s history.

The video, which premiered on the band’s Myspace site on June 12th, has scenes taken from the movie, along with shots of the band inside the Tomb of the Primes (The 12 original Transformers) while performing the song.

Sugar by Flo Rida Official Video with Lyrics
“Sugar” is the second single from Flo Rida’s sophomore album R.O.O.T.S. It features R&B singer Wynter Gordon.
The song made a “Hot Shot Debut” at #25 on the Billboard Hot 100, making it Flo Rida’s highest debut on the chart.
It debuted on the UK Singles Chart at #35 from album downloads alone and has made it to #22 since then.

The video was filmed on April 10, 2009 on South Beach. It shows a female doctor putting Flo Rida to sleep, causing him to fantasize about a girl he likes, who ended up disappearing. In the end, Flo Rida wakes up from treatment and ends up being seduced by the female doctor.

3am by Eminem – new single from Relapse
3am deals with darker themes, pitting Eminem as a serial killer as he questions his own sanity and recalls various homicidal incidents. The song, according to Eminem, is said to be closer to the overall sound of the album, as opposed to the poppy, fun-poking “We Made You”.
If Em’s claim that “3AM” mirrors the overall tone of Relapse is true, we’ll need a night light to make it through this album when it hits stores May 19th.

Eminem quotes a famous line from the movie, The Silence of the Lambs, – “She puts the lotion in the bucket, she puts the lotion on the skin, or she gets the hose again”.
References to Hannah Montana and Kim Kardashian are also made.
The video will premiere on Cinemax, May 2 right before the movie The Strangers. A trailer for the video was released on April 30 at 3 a.m. EST, via Eminem’s Twitter.

Boom Boom Pow by Black Eyed Peas
The music video for Boom Boom Pow was directed by Mathew Cullen. It premiered on the upcoming Black Eyed Peas Channel on Dipdive on the 18th of April.
The song was stated as a single, and released to mainstream radio on March 10th. “Boom Boom Pow” was released officially on iTunes in the US on March 30, 2009.
In the US, the song made its first showing on the Billboard Hot 100 at position 71 in the issue of week 13. In the three following weeks the single rose rapidly to number one.

The song blends different genres, such as dance, electro-hop, hip hop and all band members have had their voices auto-tuned in the song.

We Made You by Eminem
“We Made You” is the first single from Relapse, Eminem’s sixth album. It was released along with a music video on April 7.
A casino-based photo from the video shoot, showing Eminem and Dr. Dre in matching gray suits, has led to speculation of a homage to Rain Man, a film Eminem has previously referenced in his lyrics.
The real video premiered simultaneously on several MTV channels on April 7, 2009.

Untouchable by Girls Aloud
“Untouchable” is a single by British pop group Girls Aloud, taken from their fifth studio album, Out of Control.
The video for ‘Untouchable’ premiered on 25 March 2009 on 4music at 7:00pm GMT and was made available on MSN the following day. The futuristic video was inspired by Stanley Kubrick’s classic science fiction film 2001: A Space Odyssey.

If U Seek Amy by Britney Spears
“If U Seek Amy” was announced as the third single from Circus via Spears’ official website on January 7, 2009.
After the album’s release and before it was released as a single, the song debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 at number 86.
The single was chosen after a poll on BritneySpears.com, involving ten other songs from Circus. The track “If U Seek Amy” won, receiving 26% of total votes.

In the US, a radio edit has been released as “If U See Amy“. This edit takes out the ‘k’ in ’seek’ and speeds up the chorus, therefore running thirteen seconds shorter than the original version. The “If U See Amy” version will only be released to US radio, with the music video and the international radio single being both “If U Seek Amy”.
The music video premiered on March 12, 2009 on both Virgin Mobile (USA)’s official website and Spears’ official websites.
